LS Emergency Services Receive
Pet Masks
18NOV2007- The Little Silver EMS recently received a generous
donation to help pets in respiratory distress. LSEMS
Sergeant Peter Giblin attended a ceremony at the 4-H club in
Freehold to receive Pet Oxygen masks. The oxygen masks received
are reusable and come in different sizes to fit house hold pets.
The masks can potentially help save the lives of dogs, cats, and
rabbits. This will be an essential tool if one of your
family pets are experiencing respiratory problems due to inhaling
to much smoke from a fire. This project was put together by
"Paws 4 A Cause Dog 4-H Club" and the masks were given to
different Fire and EMS organizations throughout Monmouth County.
Little Silver Firefighters and EMT's are very excited about
receiving these masks and being included in the fantastic project.
Thank you to all the children and volunteers from "Paws 4 A Cause
Dog 4-H Club"!
